The first real photo shows the overall appearance of the XL-21 power distribution cabinet. The cabinet adopts a split upper and lower structure design, clearly dividing the functional areas into two independent Spaces, upper and lower.
Upper part: Instrument observation window area
A transparent window installation position is reserved on the top of the cabinet for arranging ammeters, voltmeters, indicator lights, changeover switches and other metering and display components. Operation and maintenance personnel do not need to open the cabinet door. They can read electrical parameters and determine the operating status in real time through the window, which greatly improves efficiency in daily inspection and fault detection. The top of the cabinet is reserved for identification positions, which can be pasted with circuit numbers, equipment nameplates or safety warning labels according to customer requirements.
Lower part: Main switch operation compartment
The main switch operation compartment at the bottom of the cabinet is equipped with an independent door lock. The surface of the cabinet door is equipped with multiple sets of heat dissipation round holes, which form front and rear convection air channels with the heat dissipation back plate of the same specification on the back of the cabinet. While ensuring ventilation and heat dissipation, the diameter of the round holes is controlled at the balance point between dust prevention and heat dissipation, reducing the entry of dust. The warehouse door is equipped with a dedicated mechanical lock to prevent unauthorized personnel from misoperating it and meet the electrical safety management requirements of industrial sites.
The second real photo focuses on the internal structural details of the XL-21 power distribution cabinet, showcasing the most core design feature of this product - the fully adjustable installation system.
Pre-install multiple sets of adjustable installation columns
The interior of the cabinet is pre-installed with multiple longitudinal installation columns, each with long holes. The installation guide rails and installation plates can be freely adjusted in height up and down along the columns. This means that the same cabinet can be flexibly adapted to different specifications of molded case circuit breakers, AC contactors, thermal relays and copper busbars according to the actual power distribution plan. Whether it is a 200A or 630A main switch, and whether it is a multi-loop or few-loop configuration, the installation positions can be arranged as needed without the need to replace the cabinet.
The compartments of the warehouse are independent, and the strong and weak electricity are separated
The instrument area and the main switch compartment are separated by metal partitions to achieve separate wiring for strong and weak electricity. This design has two significant meanings: Firstly, the electromagnetic interference generated by the large current in the main circuit is isolated in the lower compartment and will not affect the measurement accuracy of the instruments and signal lines in the upper compartment. Secondly, when inspecting the main switch, keep the upper instrument circuit isolated to reduce the risk of accidental touch. The partition board reserves wire routing holes, and rubber protective openings are provided at the cable passing points to prevent the insulation layer from being cut.
| Internal structural characteristics | Implementation method | Corresponding value |
| The installation height can be freely adjusted | Longitudinal column long strip holes + adjustable installation guide rails | A set of cabinet bodies is compatible with multiple component specifications |
| Strong and weak current zoning | Metal partitions separate the upper and lower compartments | Reduce electromagnetic interference and enhance maintenance safety |
| Heat dissipation channel | Cabinet door heat dissipation round hole + back heat dissipation cover plate | Front and rear convection control the temperature rise inside the cabinet |
| Cable management | The side panel reserves space for wiring + rubber guard mouth | The cables are neatly arranged to prevent cuts |
The XL-21 power distribution cabinet is constructed from high-quality cold-rolled steel, formed through integrated laser cutting and CNC bending, with corners assembled using bolted connections. Compared to fully welded structures, the bolted assembly ensures structural integrity while offering greater convenience for disassembly, maintenance, and replacement or upgrading of internal components.
The cabinet surface is treated with electrostatic powder coating, featuring a matte gray-white finish. Compared to traditional paint spraying, electrostatic powder coating offers stronger adhesion and superior resistance to impact and corrosion. In indoor industrial environments—such as workshops, factories, and substations—it remains durable over long-term use without chipping or rusting. The matte gray-white coating provides a clean, modern aesthetic that complements the standardized design of distribution rooms across various industrial settings.
Each cabinet is standardly equipped with a rear panel featuring ventilation holes, aligned with the circular ventilation holes on the door to create a natural air convection channel. The door is fitted with a dedicated mechanical lock, and keys are centrally managed to ensure only authorized electricians can access the main switch compartment, preventing unauthorized entry.
This batch of XL-21 power distribution cabinets has been customized for a Korean client, with voltage level adaptation, busbar specification selection, and cabinet dimensions adjusted according to the customer's technical requirements. The South Korean industrial power distribution market places two key demands on equipment: first, standardized high-voltage and low-voltage zone isolation; second, compatibility in internal cabinet installation—factory production lines frequently require adjustments to power circuit configurations based on changing production tasks, and an adjustable mounting system precisely meets this flexible requirement.
From China to South Korea, the sea freight route is short and customs clearance is highly efficient. Ouyue Electric provides standard export packaging tailored for the Korean market: fumigated wooden crates with custom bubble film cushioning liners, and separate compartments for cabinets and accessories to ensure product safety during both ocean shipping and inland transit.
The XL-21 power distribution cabinet is the latest achievement of Ouyue Electric in the field of industrial power distribution. From the adjustable installation system to the split warehouse structure, from the cold-rolled steel plate powder coating process to the convenience of bolt assembly and maintenance, every design is oriented towards the actual usage scenarios.
