Circuit breaker - the core component of circuit protection

Circuit breaker is the basic component of circuit protection in distribution box. Its function is to automatically cut off the current when there is overload or short circuit fault in the circuit, and prevent the overheating of the circuit from causing equipment damage or safety accidents.

• Working principle: When the current through the circuit breaker exceeds the rated value or a short circuit occurs, the internal thermal sensitive element or electromagnetic mechanism triggers the trip device, so that the contact separation, thus interrupting the circuit. After troubleshooting, the circuit breaker can be reset manually to restore power supply.
• Common types: thermal circuit breaker using bimetal plate bending to achieve tripping, suitable for overload protection; The magnetic circuit breaker relies on the electromagnetic coil to act quickly at the moment of short circuit, and the response time is shorter.
